Goals for the next week-10 week term

Goal #1 : Come to school on time everyday

Steps to Achieve : Set my clock at time , sleep early to get enough sleep and make it on time to school .

Goal #2 : Complete assingments

Steps to achieve : I need to complete my class work by getting all the work that i need and turn it in on time everyday .

Goal #3: Im going to stop eating junk food

Steps to achieve : im going to exercise , keep my diet on track and eat less junk food and more nutricious so i dont loose it .

Goal #4 : stop smoking weed

Steps to Achieve : Im going to stop smoking everyday and eat less because i gaining so much weight by smoking it just causes breakouts so im planning it for this whole month .

Halocaust speaker/ Maus I

On may 13th a Halocaust survivor came to my class, she talked about her experiences, hopes, faith,depression. She explained to us about how she felt during the Holocaust horror she went through at the age of 13. I do relate her story with the book we have beeing reading in my english class about the Maus I , it talks about a man's experience during the Halocaust what he went through and how he survive, It can relate to the way jewish lived in the concentration camps or Ghetto's, even though there was no reason of murdering them , the Nazi's just chose any race to blame so they picked the jewish people and shot them for no reason , rape the women , seperated families , murder children , gave seniors hard labors , and never feed them till they starve or there organism couldnt help it anymore and starve them to death. These both persons lived a life of horror, during the Holocaust speaker and the book my feelings went toward the Imigration Reform because if theres no change it can be a step up front of happening . I think the speaker felt kind of insecure because she kept on repeating that we wll never feel what she felt only if we put our selfs on her shoes that was ind of disapointing because she came in to talk about her experience not including us wether we Mexican or people have feelings or a heart, well i feel more comfortable with the book because it relates to the whole story of the Nazis and the speaker is just a part of it . But the speakers story was really sad and i felt good when she felt good when she said she felt relief when they help her scape i think it was a good moment , because by learnning from others we wont follow our mistakes than to move on and look foward.

Arizona Bill-SB1070

My experience during the Arizona Bill -SB 1070 , was that through the protest it felt so good just seeing so many people doing there best to be heard and the confidence and faith they had for each other , believing that some day there is going to be a change and us like humans will have the rights we deserve in the world. I felt like a leader by not getting put down by the words or posters that other people had against us calling us aliens, or disrespecting our human rights by cheap words that didn't even caused hurt us but hate towards the white people. It was really cool having so many people behind me following words of speech by me leading them with other people, it was the best experience i have had for standing up for our rights and other people like the Arizona people that cant even go out work for there families or anything because the law is breaking up homes, family .
I have a strong feeling towards peoples right because my family members are Mexican and can get deported as well because of dumb papers that are suppose to represent us like if our life's were depending on contracts. Its discusting how they try and kick us out like if we were animals like they don't go to Mexico and follow the same routins that bad people do like drunk men , drug dealers / smugglers , prostitutions with out knowing that they are main reasons of the cause ofcoruptions and we try and make a living and cross the borders to make a better life and have more chances but like its so easy to blame us the brown skin poeple its still so easy to try and take control of us, but thanks to me and the people that went to protest we have so many chances of recieving human rights and a big change that so many presidents have promise to change and theres no change at all that bringing the same corruptions them selfs.
